Can anyone point me in the direction of a forum guide/article/rescource which covers this topic?

Ive only ever fitted bottles into stripped cars before and I dont think that M8 flange bolts drilled through will be the most suitable method in this case.

No replies, and I can't help directly.
Suggest that all the lines should be protected by U-extrusions or similar, as under the carpet they will be at risk from being stepped on.

Thanks John - I hadnt actually thought that far ahead! I used something similar to Dexion riveted onto the floor to protect them and the bowden cables in my last car, so maybe something similar will be required here too.
