The worst access is where they through the bulkhead, which of course is under the expansion tank 
Where the hoses are swagged to fittings, I got my local hose guy to re swage then onto the new pipe. I guess you could use hose clips though. Don't forget to inspect the heat sleeving and replace where required

Really? From the tank to the pump maybe, but I would have thought that with it being a pressurised system that would be risky! I'm about to do mine and will deffinitly be using swaged hydraulic fittings.

I used 7mm id hose. I removed all of the hoses at once labelling each end, took them all to a local hose place, who changed the fittings & left the hoses a few inches too long so I could cut them back to length when I refitted them.I broke my Cross Piece connector and while looking on Ebay came across this site that have brass X piece also T and Y connectors in brass.
