Chad at Creative Visuals, based near Clitheroe 07769 903330. He did my entire car and the side quarter-light windows are in 'transparent' Union Jacks. He can print anything, but I would also consider having him apply the stuff, as he's really neat and careful with your p & j.

Quote from myself on 10/10s:

At the moment they are waiting for the ACO to give them the right to make LM stickers. This right has to be renewed every year apparently. I used them last year, nice quality and speedy delivery.

(and no, I am not connected to them in any way)

We've used Dan at Hollographics for some of ours (sun strips and the like) very helpful. Also used Cheshire Signs to sticker up a Volvo V70 into a safety car a couple of years back - very reasonable.

I used to love Hollographics, but regrettably, with each coming year, they are offering less and less by way of Le Mans stuff, particularly any Le Mans stuff that requires licensing and copyright (and yes, apparently that even includes the shape of the track)! I understand that they have to be careful, especially since they are fairly high profile leading up to LM, but sometimes you have to break a few rules to give people what they want and the smaller independent design and print guys are much less under the radar of letigious organisations like the ACO and TVR!

Burriana, as I posted the pic above, I just mused as to who and how long it would take for some clever dick to point out and comment on the upside down nature of the flag. You answered, right on cue thumbup

Surely its only the wrong way up if you assume from the outside that the left side is where it would be flying on a flagpole from. If you view it as flying from the right side (i.e. from the door pillar side) it is the right way up?

Hollographics had to withdraw a lot of their stuff a few years back when they ran into trouble with the ACO, but the last 2 or 3 years they've had plenty of choice & the service has been spot on when I've dealt with them

Flagpole is ALWAYS assumed on the left when viewing the flag. So, assuming it is not for the benefit of the occupants, which as the owner has admitted that he knows it is wrong is unlikely, then it is incorrect.

Sorry, not meaning to be clever but it is a real bug bear of mine. Get this, check out the new British Cycling team strip, great design with half of the Union flag forming the front of the body... bloody upside down. Be interesting to see what Queenie thinks of that! smile
