MRT - 1500 - Turbo and QKP Alloy Cosworth Geoff Page Racing
Discussion
Was at the Autosport show yesterday and saw two new engines on the GPR stand. One was a 1500cc Turbo Hayabusa based billit engine running approx 500 / 550 BHP that is only 72 Kg all up. Also Cosworth YB alloy block that has been produced to contain 1000 Bhp !!!! It looks Brick Sh-t House with four bolt main caps like the RS200 BDT Engines.
Roll on Christmas one of each please Santa.

I stopped by Geoff yesterday too and spotted that engine. Not surprising, given his background in RS200s (and Judd) that he's produced that engine. Meant to ask him about something else he told me he was going to do but was distracted by a girl in a Pirelli one-piece.
Show was empty though - wide aisles, halls shut in half and lots of open space for a few cars. Everyone in the trade I spoke to moaned about it.
As predicted, not all the F1 cars didn't look like 2012 cars to me....

Was at the show to see Geoff & awaiting costs from him to supply a YB block. A 4 stage dry sump system is also available to suit this block. It should allow a movement from the 850bhp limit that stops the block being reliable for road usage as against a few seconds on the deag strip. It makes the 215mph target for 2013 a step closer.
