Here is my new (to me) Giulietta which I'm getting tomorrow.

It's a 2012 2.0 JTDM 170HP with Alfa's TCT semi-auto box. It has loads of extras over the standard spec being an ex-Alfa UK Management car, these include;

Heated Sports Leather Interior
BOSE
18" Turbine Alloys
Brembo Brakes
Auto lights & Wipers
Rear Parking Sensors
Electric Folding Mirrors
Tinted Rear Windows
Tom Tom Docking Port

Love driving the TCT, can't wait 'til tomorrow, however I'm going to really miss my 156 JTDM SW.

Will post better pics tomorrow and first impressions. smile

Its a DSG style dual clutch with dry clutches which is why I asked the question above about the box.

Well I've got it back home safely. It's fantastic, it was beautifully presented and in excellent condition. I actually bought the car without seeing it! lol

The only thing it's had in 12 months is a new windscreen, which is no big deal.

The gearbox is fantastic. I was very non-plus about the Giulietta until the TCT was launched last January, I went to a launch event at Silverstone and loved it. It's very smooth, stays on the power through the gears without losing momentum during change up or down for that matter. I think it's best driven in auto and then overriding with the paddles.

Oh and the BOSE is awesome!!!!!

I absolutely spanked it on the way home and got 29 mpg...lol

Here are a few more pics, sorry my camera has packed up so will have to make do with pics from my Iphone4.

The pictures don't do it justice, it's a stunning combination in the flesh.

Sorry to be vulgar but how much ball park are those if you get them at a good deal?

That's OK, I don't mind you asking. It's difficult for me to comment as I know the Sales Manager at an Alfa Dealer, so I got mates rates if you like.

This car was £31,000 in January 2012, it's got a lot of extras on it. For a similar car you would probably be looking at about £17,000-£19,000 depending on miles and spec.

They are fantastic value used I think. This particular car is 12 months old this month and done 16,000 miles, slightly higher than average but this did also help when doing the deal.

Lovely looking car Alfahorn. Unfortunately I fear I'm ageing before my time and find the Lusso a more enjoyable drive, they just soak up the bumps that little bit better and feel slightly more settled than the Veloce. That said, the Veloce looks a lot sharper from the outside and that brushed aluminium dash is so much more classy than the silver plastic affair the Lusso got lumbered with! Love the white with red leather and privacy glass too.

Cheers Robsco.

I've driven all variants of the Giulietta from Turismo 1.4 TB to QV 1750 TBi. I know exactly what you mean about the Lusso, it's traditional for Lusso spec cars to have what I call the comfort suspension. I prefer a more sporting ride, I also find the Veloce corners flater than the Lusso. The suspension and overall ride in the Giulietta is in a different league to my old 156 SW Veloce.

Nah, I'm not very keen on them and think the car looks better without.
