E28 M535i Track Car = E28 Porn?
Discussion
Hi All,
Well, here's my E28. She's called Christine (named by the prior owner in Wales). I've owned her since 2004 and in that time she's gone from a standard road car to a road legal track car. And since being in Mid Wales she's done about 500 miles, if that. Such a waste!
Anyway, here are some piccies

one of my favourite pics -

Spec is rather basic, to be honest.
Standard M3 3.5L lump (more on that later...) Gaz Gold adjustables on each corner, billet top mounts - fully adjustable (currently running -2deg on each corner), BBS split rims with yoko track rubber, braided brake lines, race fluid and EBC Yellow Stuff pads, front Weichers strut brace, weld in read brace, 8 point fully welded Andy Robinson cage, poly carb windows all round ('cept the front screen!), race battery in the boot (over the rear axle), OMP buckets, TRS 6 point harnesses, all the doors stripped of leccy gubbins, fully poly bushed with race spec black stuff, Whiteline ARB, and there's probably a load of other stuff I've missed.
There's more on the cards as far as weight removal (circa 200kg has come out already) is concerned and then there's more power...mwhahahahaaaaa!

Looks great! Very nice. Does it drive ok on the road?
Ta
I soften the Gaz Golds off about 25% and it's ok. The roads in my part of Wales are generally OK for thraping about in normal sports/fast cars, but with Christine and the track rubber she currently wears, and the wet roads, it's not really the best mix. I can never generate enough heat into the rubber when driving 'normally'!
In the dry, raised up about 3/4" with a bit more damping, Black Mountain road is LOTS of fun
