I would think that both sensors would need to touch the disc to complete the circuit and switch the warning light on?

So you changed the pads, broke the clip, don't know if the warning lights will work, bedded them in with guesswork and don't know how to shim them?

I'm off to BR to get my pads changed today. To be honest it's worth it, but that's just me

The shims are now attached to the back of the pads rather than separate as before, there are a couple of threads on here re bedding in procedure. I would secure the sensor cable rather than leave it flapping about though.
