Just read the article in Complete Kit Car about Jeremy's new car - a "single donor" J15 based on an MGF. looks like it is priced sensibly and uses significant amounts of the MGF - VVC's can be had for a few hundered quid so should be an interesting project. As previously a Fury owner this is the first kit car in a while that has whetted my appitite again.

Has anyone got any more info on this car/seen it/got more photos ?

Tim starts building the J15 around July 2009 in his blog. Lots of info there.

Thanks for the link. The article in the mag seems to intimate that the MGF version will be ready by March so I suspect it may be at Detling at Easter ???

The MGF single donor sound interesting as it seems to use the rear subframe to mount the engine etc. and also uses all of the major components including brakes, steering, radiator, gear change and even wheels (with lower profile tyres). Not had to put a car through IVA but in old SVA days it would have retained an age related plate (not sure with IVA now).

I think I may have to finish the current project (MX6 v6 bike carb conversion) and then work on SHMBO, will be difficult as the Fury took 5 years to build but that money is still in the bank ready for a rainy day !!! I'd take mine in Aston DBR1 metallic green with black interior, very retro.

Jeremy hasn't exhibited in many years (and never at Detling as far as I remember). It might be at Stoneleigh apparently.

He did at Newark (in the hall) when he first announced the J15.

That must have been the only time in recent memory then. Jeremy doesn't 'do' shows.
