Does anyone have black / sandstorm leather ?

I'm looking for another V8v roadster and have come across a car with black and sandstorm leather. I think I really like it, but know its one of those combinations you'll need to see in the flesh. Before traveling to see the car, does anyone have this combo? If so, would you spec it again on your next car and is it practical and easy to maintain?

I had sandstorm and caspian blue in exactly the same combination on my DB9 and I loved it. So did everybody else that looked at it. It lifts the interior and makes it much airier. Looks really good!!

i have caspian blue /sandstone love it.. my wife has got all sandstone colour in her car its just to much for my likeing.

Is that definitely Sandstorm in the pic? It looks a lot paler than the leather in my car, it looks more like Cream Truffle. Might just be the lighting though.

I think the two tone works well too.

Think that interior looks fantastic but had similar (ivory) in my XKR and spent most of the time cleaning it and then on my 355 had crema interior and couldn't get the jeans marks off!

Have to agree with the above looks fantastic but as a daily i wouldn't but as a none daily would be great.The dirt would show up very quickly.

My car has Caspian blue carpets and dashboard etc and has sandstorm seats, door inlays and rear of the car boarder. When I first saw the car on the internet, the sandstorm looked very pale in the images. When I went to see the car ion the flesh, it was darker and set the blue off very nice, I love it.

I think the sandstorm and black do go together quite well, but it is a mater of taste of the individual, some would prefer all black interior.

If you like the look of the car, It wouldn't hurt you going to have a look. It is better to have a look than just think that the colour isn't right with out seeing it for yourself.

Duke, that interior looks fabulous, I wouldn't hesitate buying a car with that interior!

My seats are sandstorm..... I'd agree with George....the ones above aren't sandstorm

It looks like ivory to me not sandstone as it is paler. I have to say when the car is new an interior like that is beautiful to behold, I had the same in an old Merc. 85.000 miles later however despite trying my best to keep it cleaned, clothes, general wear and tear etc, it look tired.

So if you want a garage queen - beautiful car, if you want a more longer term then I am not sure it will hold. It may have been better if the black and ivory were swapped over so where you sit was actually black and the outer bit was ivory as a contrast, however I must confess I prefer one colour rather than two-tone, just me however.

Thank you all for your thoughts. There's only one thing for it and that's a trip to the dealers.
My last roaster was all black inside and I didn't mind that at all.
I take on board all your comments about keeping the seats in a perfect condition, so if purchased; in true news reader fashion will be driving everywhere in my underwear!
