Doesn't that look nice? Shame they are LHD only, but it isn't often a car can genuinely be described as a future classic

They are very nice up close, well finished inside and out with great details and neat little touches.
Newbury Audi have one in the showroom...I was looking at it while my radio was being re-coded on the S4.

If they were RHD I'd not be against having one.

I love the seats cloud9

Sorry to sound a little cynical, but that's stretching the Quattro brand a little far, or is the engine north/south.... Synchro, possibly?

You're right, and in this instance I think it's a phrase that once again has been miss-used. I sincerely doubt that Audi will never re-release the A1 Quattro, and if my gut instinct is right, that limited run of 333 world wide well end up soon enough being 33,333.

It does look cool, one I'd buy if money was no object for a giggle but not as an only or weekend car.

Yeah, cool, but BMW M135i with every option or this? I'd go with the BMW without hesitation.

Oh yeah, or that. smile

I must admit I have a bit of an obsession with that engine and that gearbox in the new M135i though!

is quattro a brand?

I've always just seen at denoting an audi that is 4 wheel drive.

Agreed.

I'd love one, quirky and no doubt quick. Saying that amongst PH and non PH the 1M looks a much meaner package so I'd out my money with BMW.

It is RIDICULOUS money but with production numbers that low, will surely become a classic in the future. And not a bad looker really smile

The back looks like a storm troopers helmet. Bonus points for that.

Not stricty true that. A Quattro system car traditionally has a north/south engine with full four wheel drive like a Subaru. Audi never went rallying with a Quattro with a front wheel drive Golf gearbox with additional drive to the rear wheels. I only make the point because the two systems do not have the same basis or history, and they do not drive the same way. the relationship is as distant as a Freelander is to a Range Rover Classic.

About the only current car I have any real interest in, lhd is not a problem....will wait a couple of years to pick one up, these will be £20-25k before you know it.
Would be interesting then, especially with a 300 ish bhp tune and a haldex controller.

That honour was taken some years ago by the Renault Megane saloon especially in white. I don't know if anybody else had noticed this, I am not even a Star Wars fan.
