I had some chopper today block a perfectly sensible overtake on a single carriageway road - traffic doing approx 40mph in an NSL. No worries I gave him some space as I knew there was a DC coming up. When the road became a dual carriageway, he first blocked me, then sat in the o/s lane with nothing in front or in the n/s lane, then pulled in but when i went to overtake he pulled out in front of me and brake tested me. When i did get past, he swerved into my lane and almost had me in the central reservation. All the while his passenger was gesticulating at me that (I think) he wanted me to stop - presumably so he could assault me. Partially that was why I decided I WAS getting past him, no way was I being forced by him to stop.

Interestingly had we had a collision, I'm pretty sure my car would have come off significantly better than his, being much bigger and heavier.

As soon as I was past, I gave it some gas and got out of there pretty sharpish.

So much for quick unobtrusive progress - I obviously really rattled his cage. There are some seriously deranged individuals out there...

Yes of course. I should get a blog etc etc.

Just ruminations on the odd psychology of driving - one would hope they don't behave in the same way in 'real' life.

As per a 'peanuts' cartoon, I love humanity, it's people I can't stand.

I had it once on a little used old NSL B road.

I was in my Boxster and it was a nice day and I was in the mood for a hoon, nothing aggressive or overly speedy mind.

Some woman decided to steer into me as I overtook her. Moron.

Forgive me if I don't answer. I saw online banter spill over into real life on another forum. Life's too short.

Edit: although someone has answered for me. One point something tonnes of Swedish goodness.

I had the same on the A1 near wetherby in my wife's boxster. For no reason an impreza decided to pull out in front and call me a coffee shaker.
I thought it was really funny when I pretended to be a total psycho and stalk him for the next few miles scream at him.
He proper st his pants and was so apologetic after about 15 minutes.
Oh how I laughed.
