TVR 2500 UKU 47K

Greetings everyone, first post from me. This is probably a long shot but I have just discovered that someone I know had a TVR 2500 reg no. UKU 47K in the early to mid 70s. At the time he was based in RAF Germany and flew Lightnings with 92 Squadron at Gutersloh. He would very much like to know what became of the car and whether it still exists. Any information on this car would be gratefully received.

Looks like not been taxed since 1980 !

Could still be in someones garage somewhere, "I'm going to restore it one day"

Thanks Mike. That doesn't look too good! Apparently he sold it to buy an E-Type so it could be that it didn't survive long after he got rid of it. Let's hope that as you say it is waiting somewhere to be restored.
