Television Model purchase

3 yrs ago via advice on Pistonheads I bought a Pioneer 50" Television for a house that I was building.

I am now looking to buy another Television for another house is Pioneer still the Television to buy or has something better come to the market, all advice appreciated.

Pioneer are out of the game sadly.

Panasonic VT50 Plasma is thought of by most as the best screen out there. Some people like the top end Samsung LED's...personally I don't
