Hello!
I'm in the process of looking for a new car and have decided that it pretty much has to be a focus and has to be a diesel.
Were looking at 07/57 plate cars but we're stumped as to which engine, I was looking for a 1.8 as we'd heard that the 1.6 was a bit unrefined as its a Peugeot engine(?), but I've found a really nice 1.6 zetec!
We use the car for commuting and the usual running round mostly, but pretty much every other weekend in the summer I run off to north Wales for the weekend (90 odd miles each way) so it needs to be good on motorways, there's also a possibility of a couple of runs up to the west coast of Scotland.
I've looked at insurance quotes and the like and they seem to have pretty similar premiums.
Any advice would be great!
