Heated mirror circuit

Anyone know what comprises the circuit on a 1997 Chimaera 450 please ?
Mine work intermitently and not really sure what turns them off. Some have said auto on with IGN, others say related to blower switch.
Have taken the mirrors out and checked for voltage and seemed fine and mirrors heated but then some time after reassembly they fail again.
Anyone know where the circuits runs and where the controller is etc ?
