I'm quite happy to spend less of course on a Spyder.

So you've not managed to find a Spyder then?

I thought you might have ended up with M33ufo's car.

Spend a few extra £ and buy something special that will not depreciate.

Some may say you overpaid, but I have a 94k mile, 11 year old Shogun Pinin you can have.

It'll save you putting miles on, and getting salt on the Spyder you haven't bought.

No need to thank me - for I'm feeling generous today.

I believe he sold his car about 3/4 days before mine went, otherwise I could have been interested.

Lovely car and defo a contender for the OP at this budget, especially as the seller is throwing in some lovely porsche mags as a sweatener...cool

My only qtn mark is the comment re depreciation proof of the 996 GT3 - i'm really not an expert here, but i find it hard to rationalise this statement given the 997 is now down to £50-55k. The latter should surely continue to come down therefore causing downward pressure on the 6 (?) no confused

Assuming your statement is correct then in 3/4 years time we should see same ££'s chasing 996/997 GT3's which to me seems unlikely.... Interesting that the seller is also considering a px into 997 GT3. All just IMHO

'6 GT3 is a different type of car to the '7 GT3. The 996 was the last of the pre-electronic era - no PASM or TC/PSM.

2 bed flat in an "up and coming area" for £39,500. Rental income approx £450 a month.

After a month you could buy an Mx5

Hang in there. I would be very surprised if there aren't quite a few more available once Spring starts.

Have a very well spec'd 996 turbo if you are interested. Could be persuaded for the right cash.
