C63 fuel choice

I know this has been beaten to death on MBWorld but i would like a less biased answer from the PH crowd. Having read through the pages and pages on MB its very difficult to get an answer.

Having run both my C5 RS6 and E61 M5 exclusively on VPower due to the engines being more needy than your average, is the C63 as reliant on the premium juice? The C63 has a fairly low stress engine the scheme of things. even the 487bhp in my inbound 2010 PP+ saloon is pretty stress free by all accounts. What's your views on the C63's drink habits? Does the VPower make a difference in any way?

My E63 wagon seems to run best on Vpower compared to other types of super unleaded. (handbook says only use 98/99 Ron or higher)

No real improvement in mpg but definitely more responsive throughout rev range and less lumpy when first starting from cold.

On day to day driving I have used various brands and do not noitce any significant difference in the power output or fuel consumption of my C63. I do try to fill up with V Power as and where I can but feel that I am paying into a kind of snake oil scheme.

If I as to race the car and dyno it then maybe I would see these extra horse powers that V Power unleash..

I'll just stick with VPower then. At least that way i'll know 100% its getting what it wants or better.
