flo-Flex Poly Bushes?

Hi All

Anyone used these Flo-Flex poly bushes? Some good review about and customer service is good as well?

About 50% the cost of powerflex bushes.

I was planning to just replace with rubber, but finding them awkward to source at the minute, online anyway. My local motor factors are pretty good though so will try them tomorrow.

Not heard anything about them, but looking at their products the prices look pretty low!

The front tie bar bushes http://www.floflex.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=23... are cheaper than the original squashy rubber ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Cortina-Mk3-Mk4-Mk5... that I have used.

That dosent mean to say that they arent any good, so give them a go and see how long they last!

Just read some pretty bad review about Flo-flex on one of the Ford forums. So it looks like I will be going for good old rubber.

Did you manage to source the 2 sets of rubber for the drop links from the anti roll bars? I can't find them anywhere.

For what its worth I have to say that i have tried various poly type bushes on the car and eventually went back to good old original rubber ones. Classic example was the nice blue ARB bushes on the Wedge and the car's handling was atrocious and then they started squeaking! So all off and good old Ford black ones on and normal service was resumed!

I know I did mone on the 280i 2+2 and used a mixture of poly and rubber, but I cant for the life of me remember what or where I got them from!

The donut bushes are an easy one, but the rest of the bushes I just cant remember what they are.

Anyone got the info or links?

That's the way I'm going to go. I've got the following.

New ball joints top and bottom
New lower wish bone bushes
New track rod ends

Found upper wishbone bushes but not ordered yet. same for anti roll bar mount bushes.

Found what I think are the lower bushes for the anti roll bar drop link.

But can't find the upper drop link bushes that fit inside the eye of the drop link!
