5.7L V8
Hats off to the man, £52,000 in fuel, assuming £1p/l.

you would need to be incredibly brave
or else Ed China to buy that
i love the part "214k, some would say it's just run in"
run into the ground, i'm sure it'll make a nice penis extension for someone to drive a weekends and polish in their driveway
but as a drivers car it'll not be long before it kicks the oil bucket
and in parts it's probably worth a fair bit

If it has had regular maintenance that engine will still be tight and trouble free. Don't some owners report 30+ MPG on motorway runs?.
I had a GMC Sierra with a 5.7 V8 that I sold with 193K and it ran beautifully. Used no oil, produced no smoke and only ever needed ancillary repairs (starter, water pump and belt tensioner IIRC). Original autobox too.

Those engines are supposed to be long lasting, would I pay that for one? Er... no thanks, especially when I can have this for not much more...
