When locking the car, I get 4 flashes of the indicators. Is this correct?

No - The standard Meta alarm gives two flashes.

Yep that's what mine does, after I replaced the fuses that the last owner had removed! And it hasn't gone off yet either

Extra flashes generally mean that either a sensor has been triggered or there is a fault with a sensor. The Meta manual definitely specifies two flashes on locking, which is what mine has always done.

4 suggests a fault according to the META manual on our alarm but both my Cerbs had always flashed 4 times. All sensors functioned correctly though. It may be due to the lack of bonnet sensor?

META suggest that 3 flashes is correct.

I can't seem to trigger the alarm , if I attempt to open the door it changes the led rhythm but fails to sound the alarm , is this correct ?

Has the siren ever worked on your car or has someone removed it?

Aside - two flashes to lock on both my Cerb and prior to that Chim'

My old Cerbera flashed four times. The owner's manual said it should be two. There was nothing wrong with any of the sensors though, so I just presumed it was a typical TVR quirk.

Mine is exactly the same, I can trigger the alarm, indicators flashing, but fails to sound. Maybe lack of siren is why there is 4 flashes?

Where should the siren be? must confess I haven't looked or counted flashes

I believe the siren is visible through one of the rear wheelarches, can't remember which.

the siren was changed, and then a few weeks later the meta was changed and matched up, the said individual put in a hidden key to turn off the siren, which is where i think my problem lies, but saying that after messing about inside trying to trigger the alarm mode (repeated hazrd flashing) only achieved turning the key whilst activating the sensors, but in either positon alarm did not respond more than one hazard flash. its def in a mess and needs to be sorted but the guys away at the mo.
