Eurocarparts have a deal on till friday on Castrol EDGE, you can get 4 Ltrs of 10w/60 (the right stuff) for £28.49 when you use the promo code SAVENOW.
Maybe I'm a tight git but I always stock up when there's a deal on, you know you'll regret not buying it when it's cheap!

Sport or Professional?

Don't know about the M5s, but I've been expicitly told NOT to use Sport previously in my M3. Professional is apparently the only M-approved oil for my car (has some kind of additive unique to it, same as was in the old 'TWS' oil).
I also got told, despite some saying 'approved for M models', it's still not exactly the right stuff unless it's 'Professional'.

I got a box through a trade contact, which I'm slowly using myself, or flogging to M-driving pals (no, I'm afraid I won't sell to others...sorry). Otherwise, I think you will have to go to a stealer for Professional.....when I was looking I struggled to obtain any via other sources.

Spot on M3CS, just checked the 1 liter (£18) top up I bought form local dealer, indeed it does say "professional", will ring dealer in the morning and ask a question, have not used the 20 liter drum as yet

Doesnt have to say 'professional' on it, as long as its not the 'sport' variant. I picked up a litre the other day from my local dealer and it is the same that eurocarparts is selling. Approved for BMW 'M' models.

As long as not the "sport" variant, which is discontinued anyhow, then no problems. Not sure what the main difference is between TWS and the FST, but both are suitable???

Quote from Opie Oils "As far as we know, the only difference between that oil and the Professional version is the dye used in the oil (Professional is fluoro yellow, I believe, we've only just got it here so I haven't seen it open)".
