I've got an AutoWatch 457RLi (Thatcham approved etc).
Sigma S30 is a great alarm, Thatcham approved and reasonably priced.

To be honest any recent Thatcham approved alarm will be better than anything from 5+ years ago!

Got an S30 in my '92 964. No problems, once you get the hang of how the immobiliser works.

H&P PA2000 is still available from Hamilton and Palmer (was the approved alarm 1995 on) has Porsche logo'd fobs and documentation.

That might strangely be a good idea?

Would a modern thief know this old tech?

Hi thanks for the information about alarms ,I have looked at a Toad system but took car to Oak Tree Garage Sidmouth.
Car has oil leak Smelly heaters will need-top end work rings total exhaust, the owner Crispin said he could arrange for someone to fit system while car is there so will ask about the systems you recommended
