two adds private adds on PH for these at around £95k, then comes this OPC car at £84950. Well priced i think.

It's an RS. I enquiried about it before I bought mine last year. I specifically asked about the paintwork before I travelled west to see it. I was told that its had a lot of paint and that if I wanted a mint one this was not for me. Very honest of them, but it's potentially a bargain for someone not as anal as me.

OK hence the price then.cayman-black said:

On a car that age, that means a fairly comprehensive shunt?Sounds like a shunt to me!
No sat nav which is fairly rare. Has PCCB's wouldn't be surprised if it had a seen the track from new. Not a favoured colour scheme. Grey/red more common and preferred. Also the grey paint is very very soft and marks easily. Stones dimple it very easily. I had the whole front end of mine done in paint shield film from nearly new to protect it. So wouldn't be surprised if its had a front end and leading edge rear arch respray. Mine had front lift and it came in very handy, the spoiler on these is more expensive than on previous gt3's and is also much thicker so has the potential to misalign the bumper if ground hard.
Fantastic cars to drive but not as raw as some think or expect. Loved every minute I had mine.

I'm now doubting my own memory! I definitely called the opc re a gt3 Rs and it was up for mid 90s, they agreed an offer from me in the region of 90, subject to it being original paint.
The salesman came back to me with what I said above, but I'm now questioning myself about whether it was this car or another one they had.
I still think its a b good price from an opc.

Recently Leeds sold one, a straight, Grey/Red, 2k miles, PCCB for under £90k and struggled to shift it for weeks.
Their view was that although it had PCCB and a good colour, demand was very sensitive to spec and it just was not quite the right spec.
Wasent that the none clubsport RS which had no cage and comfort seats????Their view was that although it had PCCB and a good colour, demand was very sensitive to spec and it just was not quite the right spec.
No wonder they struggled to sell it, as you say very sensitive to spec and an RS without the cage etc has to be one of the most difficult of all to move on.....
