In case any of you didn't see it, there is a Cerbera running in the European Cannonball.

Footage of it at the start can be found in these clips:

Ah, that was quality! Maybe I'm biased, but I reckon that Cerb sounded the best of the bunch. Very nice indeed!

Sorry to be a splitter, but surely the Cobra takes the crown in this instance?

The Cerb was the best sounding by far!!!

The German Diablo was a tad pathetic, being driven like it had L plates on!

Whilst idling around, queueing up for the start, the Cobra would win it every time. Sounded amazing. But off the line (and I was stood about 6 feet from the grid girls), the Cerb was far and away a winner... in sound, in amount of tyre smoke, etc.

One of the Jap cars - think it was a Skyline - sounded great; something kind of exploded out of the back of it as it set off from the line. Sure made everyone jump!

Thinking about it mate, were you trying to put the JS jinx on any of the cars
by standing by them at the start line.?

Worked on my car!

The ones in the video though, the pink thing and the black Supra were dismal.

Hell yeah. Graham, did you not get footage of the other cars? I.e. the one that stalled, for a start?

I don't have to try - just have to stand in the same carpark. Managed to get some awful knocking noise in Jo's Ka on the way back down from dropping the Tusc off with Joolz last night. Only took me 2 minutes in the passenger's seat...

No sorry mate, got moved a few times.

Guess the middle of the road for the pass over shot was a bit stupid.

Dunno - figure you had a good 30 seconds to get out of the way while he restarted the engine...

I thought the cerb won the start competition although that Skyline did sound beefy - by the way was yours parked on the far side JSG? I was in a silver one parked over near my brothers motor (black 996 that is competing)

JSG's Tuscan and my Cerbera were parked on the back wall, although JS moved the Tuscan
so his good lady could watch from the car as she was unwell (hopefully now better?)

Did I also pass your Cerbera on the M1 at Hemel Hempstead and exchange waves?
