Mercedes SL350 battery question

Hi everybody, my name is Michael and I have just got this amazing SL350 and guess what my problem is electric consumers offline on cold days,do not use it everyday,so do I get a trickle charger and to which battery do I attach it to is it the front or rear battery,I know the front battery is the starter and the rear for the toys,help please.My car is in a garage each night and so will it be safe to use a trickle charger.

You can try trickle charging - but how old is the car/battery? Perhaps its just at the end of its service life?

Attach it to the one in the boot - that is the one that does the 'consumables' the front small battery is just for starting.

Hi thank you for the quick reply and info,my car is 2003 with 57000 miles battery has been fine last few days as I am using the car,a bit worried about bad weather coming and not using the car for a while,so yes I will try trickle charge on rear battery .Thanks.
