LSD Rear axle

I have a TR7V8 and it does not have an LSD, They are available but very expensive, does anyone have any suggestions of other axles that could be modified to do the job? Most rear wheel drive cars now have independent suspension.
Any ideas?

you will probably find that moding an axle would beeas expensive as buying the orig part, alternatives could be Rover sd 1 Escort/Capri but would require extensive mods my ops only best of luck
