Starter motor solenoid

Morning all. Car failed to start this morning - diagnosed as the starter solenoid (quick wallop and everything was tickety boo again). First time it's happened - no warning at all.
Are the solenoids worth rebuilding these days - or is it a better idea to just chuck a new/remanufactured starter motor and be done with it?
