If you have Audi / Porsche / Corvette etc

We've been going for some time now and along with evreybody else have noticed it is more corporate than ever at Le Mans.

Does anybody know if you have one of the above cars (or any other car manufacture who is competing at the race) you can get some free hospitality?

For example if you have a BMW you can get free parking at the big golf events.

Audi do a vast amount of corporate hospitality but you need to arrange this via your local dealer, not sure about the other marks but pretty sure that just owning a car will not get you anything, unless it is a seriously old bentley one of these will get you whatever you want

I think the criteria is not whether you have bought a car but whether they think that you might buy another one (and probably not an A3)

I'd say it's aimed at the fleet business buyer rather than the individual, based on the set up and the mpv shuttle service they lay on. You might get lucky at your local dealer if they have any say in who gets the invite. Although it might even be an incentive bonus for dealers who sell the most cars so the Sales Manager or dealer principle/owner gets a free jolly!

I do hospitality most years

There are two types of guest. Freebies, whether given as suggested to large fleet buyers or people with commercial arrangments, e.g. wheel suppliers, sponsors etc, make up the bulk of the guests.

the second type of guest is paying customers, typical cost £1,500 - £2,000 per head. For audi, there is so much demand for these tickets, you have to be able at the very least to demonstrate you have good audi purchase history and have a decent contact - a typical uk audi dealer gets 2 tickets max (which they have to pay audi uk for) and these are either given free to a fleet buyer or sold on at cost to a good customer - audi uk only have 100-150 tickets for le mans, out of c. 1,000 internationally. Audi cost £1,750 per head last yr from memory.

What audi do then is have 1 venue for audi owners (nothing free in there, but it's a bar, etc, on the main shopping drag last yr, which you show your audi key to get in) and around 6 or 7 venues that you cna only get access to if you are on the hospitality package

What you really need is a sister in law, who is a food and bev manager for the teams.
Bentley, Aston and Audi in the recent past...............the best "hospitality" you could wish for.
Pit, box and garage during the race.
Fed and watered too!
Can't put a price on all that!!!

My mate took his Aston last year and left his Audi keys at home. If only he knew what they could unlock!!!

Having purchased 2 hi spec A5's and an R8 all within the space of a year I thought I'd have nothing to lose by enquiring if we might be entitled to some hospitality at Le Mans a couple of years ago. I was told we would be very welcome - if we paid £1500 each!
