Has anyone managed to get Bluetooth (for phone) installed in a 2002-2005 RR Vogue?

I'd like it fully integrated into the car using the existing steering wheel buttons, voice command, contacts visible on the central screen, etc. The car currently has the factory fit handset in the front armrest.

Any pointers for self-install or (even better) someone who can install it for me?

Thanks!

Depends on your phone, not everything is available via bluetooth on all phones. Look in the manual for the pairing procedure (it's pretty easy) and then take it from there?

FWIW my parents have a 2006 RR with bluetooth and we've never seen contacts on the screen. I thought that was only available on cars plugged into the armrest cradle, at least up to the 2007 dash facelift or perhaps the last facelift.

As a 10 year old, unfortunately it does not come with Bluetooth, hence wanting it installed smile

That's good to know, thanks. You are right that the cars with the integrated handset do show all the numbers/contacts on the screen, as mine does that already. I was hoping that someone would have invented a simple box that would clip in where the original factory fit handset is, then offer full telephony via Bluetooth. Seems not after a lot of googling.

It's a shame as that's exactly what's available for similar era Mercedes, although at a couple of hundred quid they're not cheap!
