So, we potentially have a major snow event coming on Friday.

If its deep, I'll be out in it putting the V8 Disco through its paces. Just put some new Insa Turbo special track tyres on it, so plenty of grip smile

Bet you it will be the same as any other snow prediction for this part of the world... 1/2 an inch max and everything will grind to a halt....

Looks like the snow warnings are dropping off. Our area looks likes sleet and rain friday and rain followed by a bit on sunshine on saturday.

Well I think I shall again leave the VXR8 on the drive and take the Freelander. We've got the 500 booked in for its MOT on Saturday but something tells me its skinny vintage tyres will probably be OK in the snow, if I can get off a sloping drive and of course the hill we live on! Tomorrow is slumming it on the train to London day.

Forecast does look like we shall have a bit of the white stuff on Friday, so wherever you are on road or foot take it easy, no slip ups!

Met Office is still forecast heavy snow for Lymington.

Wonder if it will settle.

I reckon it all depends on temperature. Depending on which forecast you look at the temperature will be anything between 3 and 1 degree.
3 = sleet, we'll be ok
1 = snow, chaos will ensue.

Seems it will start gently in the morning, be in full flow early afternoon and then tail off late afternoon/evening.

Driving in it I don't mind, but everything gets blocked up and you sit in traffic forever.

It is snowing right now in Andover, just rang MissB at home she says it is snowing there too.

I'll be out in the S4 enjoying myself.

I saw your thread in Readers Car. Looks lovely.

Yeah, I really loved mine. It was a sports car/practical car for me as my girlfriend had an MR2 and I wanted to move the bikes/kayaks/boat around. I even made a good profit on my silver one!

Looks like snow for Southampton tomorrow by all accounts. Been a few flurries so far today but nothing more, feels cold enough to settle.

I'll take some work home with me I think!
