search isn't helping at all!!

After de icing the best to go to the shop this evening I've decided an outdoor cover might be for the best, seeing as 1st the handle was frozen, then the glass, then the folding mirrors then the fuel cap haha, it wasn't a successful trip!

suggestions?

Unless the car is absolutely clean before fitting, any cover will scratch the paintwork. I have an indoor cover for mine and I only ever use it after the car is washed and dried. If I have driven the car I don't use it.

i just don't want it getting battered by the elements and it would be nice to be able to get in it haha

drofnavi is right. Unless the car is clean an outdoor cover, which is relatively thick and heavy compared to an indoor one, will scratch your car. Just pour some tepid water along the window so it can drop and over the door handle.

I know what your saying, mine is now out in the cold, so I have looked at an outdoor cover, which according to the description is, "A semi tailored, outdoor car cover in a water resistant fabric. The material breathes allowing moisture to evaporate. Available in silver. Supplied with an individual storage bag."

This cover is an Aston Martin V8/V12 Vantage Coupe Outdoor Car Cover, part number,702870.

mine is under its Specialised one now ....and yes, its not ideal for daily use on a dirty car. Generally I use it for longer periods (more than a few days) and clean it before I "put it away" whilst I go on holiday/business trip etc

Ive had it 5 years, before that had a Specialised one on my previous car for 6 years and sold it for 60% of its new RRP ...so the covers hold value better than the cars
