The Purple EVO 3...

When I worked in Stamford (lincs) I regularly drove past a purple Lancia Delta, N reg. It was just parked up on the curb as thought somebody used it every day. It was the year 2000 and I was 21 years old. Probably at the peak of my obsession with these cars, so you can imagine how I lusted after this vehicle. Tho, as a trainee journo on 10Kpa it was well out of my sights!
Two questions:
1) Could that have been the elusive and rare 'EVO 3'?
2) Is there anyone on here who might have owned that car, in Stamford, in the year 2000 that could shed some light on this?
