Sticking brakes on a Cooper S

Hi All,

I think I have an issue with the front brakes on my R53. Every time I pull away from a junction i hear a squeaking noise from the front of the car which seems like the brakes are sticking slightly to the discs. It doesn't squeak when i apply the brakes though.

Weather depending I will try and check on the weekend, but is it a case of worn pads or discs?

are you sure its the breaks and not the clutch? Does it only happen from cold? If so, try googling R53 chewbacca noise from clutch!

If its the same mine did it and quite common.

Just had a look on google and it doesn't sound like the same thing. it happens 80% of the time if I have pulled up at a junction and then pulled away. No noise when I depress the clutch.
