I came across this UK Cerbera on an LS! engine conversion forum, and since I bought a salvage from TVR Dean, I'm drooling at these flares:

You bought a Tvr dean cerb? Should be £500 to fix plus paint and then perfect. Well done.

Does look a little bit different now! Can't see the Audi TT bit but anyway everyone has they're own opinion, it was supposed to be more based on the rollcentre GTC Cerb. It was always going to be a death sentence for anyone who likes the cerb to be left as it was. You should have seen the rats nest on the heatshield below the propshaft and the drivers side when I bought it,one more brought back from the dead.

It is just one of those marmite jobs .... Sometimes I look at it and love it and sometimes not ! Problem with most Cerb owners is simply we love them the way they are. I've just had a full respray on mine and blended in the front light pods, it's something some people will frown upon but it's the way I wanted it.

At the end of the day ill shake hands and say well done to anyone who saves any Tvr from the scrap heap !

( within reason rolleyes )

If Scotty doesn't want to swap his bonnet, Plasticman made one for my No2 Cerbera (he maybe did all of them, I don't know). Either way, he can make you one. Give him a shout through his profile, or give him a call 07771 928302 thumbup

rofl

hmm he said £695 for the replacement front end..... but then.... it was another £80 for a front light pod.. he did say that it needed a new front radiator- but didn't mention the air conditioning condensor... but I would assume it would need replacing since the rad was damaged in the front end collision.

I wouldn't just do that to my car from the off, but since yours was a rescue job anyway, I say fair play to you. I do actually quite like the look of the front bumper & splitter, but again I'd only want that myself if I was going the race car route. It does look nicely executed though and it's not offensive to my eyes at all.

Better on the roads than in the breaker's yard!

You know what, I like it, the only thing i'm not sure about is the wheels themselves, personally I would have gone for a design that looked more more like a 1990s motor sport wheel, i.e. a simpler design, I think that's what the Audi TT comment was alluding to. But overall sterling work and well done for saving another Cerb.

Thanks for the comments chaps. There were times when I just wanted to scrap it but I only ever wanted a Tvr and an added bonus of two back seats. If I were to be totally honest the wheels are a tad large add I would swap them for a set of smaller more race orientated alloys. Best start saving!

I think its looks amazing smile what size tyres do you have under there now??

Where did you get the arches from...I've got a chimaera but thinking about something similar as an LS Turbo is going in it smile
