Use it for high days and holidays. Stick 10,000 miles on it over 5 years and its still only on 21k.

How on earth did he find it anyway? Simply stunning.

Beautiful car and amazing detail work. The owner should really cherish it, but also use it just for the right occasions.

This is no daily driver and IMHO no doubt it will be a great long term investment...

Not a daily driver I agree but it should be used and used properly. At least one European road trpi per annum, pile the miles on and it should earn its ring sticker without delay.

Nothing worse than a garage queen.

Great looking car, the cleaning process is brilliant, even down to cleaning the inside of the glass on a couple of the dials. The only thing I don't like is the the toffee apple look tyre dressing, far too shiny for me.

Blimey, that is a find.

I bought Steve's old Meteor GT3 a couple of years ago, and it was the cleanest car I'd ever seen - the chaps at Nine Excellence couldn't believe it when it was PPI'd. I'm sure he'll keep that Carrera in lovely nick.

That looks very nice cleaned up but you would have to be concerned about a car that has done such little driving in 24 year.

One photo appeared to show something odd:

It looks like the paint is peeling or a rust at the end of the kick plate.

Given that these cars rust from the inside, this would worry me, do you know if it was just a blemish?

Looks like a bit of a leaf stuck in it to me...

If it was firstly knowing steve he would not of bought it ,

it was fully inspected before handing over any money by dealer (that offered steve 9k more instantly for the car without doing a single thing)

if it was missed then it would be booked in with us to sort out , as he has not booked it in it must be s small reptile then :-)

P.S. I would use it.

Storing just creates other problems, but what a beautiful job.

Indeed, what a find. Fantastic looking vehicle. I'm guessing he paid about £35,000 for it. I would not get hung up on using it as it will always have relatively low mileage and hopefully a rot free shell. At present a car in this condition with say 60,000 miles would fetch £25,000 IMO. Prices for very good 3.2's are on the rise. In truth it should cost nothing to own. Depends what was paid for it.

25k with 60000 miles on it. I wouldn't pay that for a 3.2. That's 964 or even more like 993 territory with that mileage, and a 60k car could not be in that condition.
Great cars, but even so.

It would be interesting to find out what this low mileage one cost though. I can't really see how you could price it.
Personally I think it's an utter shame. If you use it, it loses its individuality the more miles u put on it, if you don't use it what's the point in owning it.
If I won the lotto I'd buy it use it and be damned with it, other than that its a museum piece.
