Just a note that it's The Prof's memorial today in London.

As a fan of formula one for almost 30 years,ive seen plenty of action on and off the track and i got to be a fan of the late Ayrton Senna. One of Ayrton`s friends was Sid Watkins who was was known as the Prof who sadly died last year.Today i attended the memorial for sid watkins like many other people did,many i am sure knew sid very well in his work for either the hospital or formula one.As a fan without the connections of f1 itself i found myself in the church surrounded by many involved in formula one past and present,without the aid of any special passes like you need to attend a grand prix,the weather was not kind with artic snow conditions hitting the uk,but that didnt stop me from travelling the odd 40 miles to attend and i am glad that i did for sid was a good and gentle guy who helped everybody that needed it,now it was my turn to pay my respects to a great guy just like i did to Ayrton the day after he died,now both have got together to laugh,to look down on us and probarly gone fishing,rest in peace sid
How true, I am glad you had the chance (without any "passes" or bulls
t ) to be there. A small representation for us fans, who were fans of his too, because he saved the lives of those we love to observe doing their stuff.
