Sad pictures them, is it still like that shells laying around etc?
No all the shells & everything else went a long time ago. Most of the factory has now been demolished but the brickbuilt buildings facing Bristol Avenue are still there and are home to several TVR centric businesses run by former TVR workers, Lawfield Engineering, JGR Race preperation, Surface and Design, Mike Vernon Automotive and D&C Trim. Not all bad news.
The Sagaris boyshell's were the very first body's made and were fitted to chassis and sat on the production line ready to be built. Then someone higher up decided that they were not going to use them and made changes to the body mould's and fitted the later spec mould's to the chassis. The first spec body can be easily recognised due to the slashes still being cut out and the early fuel filler and the extra rear panel under the number plate. The old discarded body's were then removed and left out on the waste ground in the centre of the factory and later sold off when the factory was closing.
