I see in this months Sprint mag that str8six have put a package together to convert road going griff and chim for racing. Not on their website yet so will have to phone them for details. What do you think this is going to cost and is it the simplest route to get my car on track?

Put a cage in it
Put fire system in it
Put a harness in it
A couple of panel pins...

...and you're off!

There's a load of stuff on tvrmonster.com on how I went racing in my griff. They use chims as they're cheaper and more available

I think they were talking 20k for a turn key car with a stock 4 ltr.

A half way house maybe to find a car get them to sort outriggers and cage and you sort the rest.

Then you could run a class b motor

2 class b chims and 2 class b griffs already running in 2013

If you want a 1 piece chim front to save 46kg we can help :-)

I think Jasons cars are aimed at group c and are meant to offer a cost effective way into racing! Good idea & should help boost numbers on the grid smile
