Hi there. I'm new to this site although I have read it alot.
I have a 1996 tvr chimaera 4.0 hc. I locked it before going on holiday and now the battery is flat so I cant get the doors open. I have read that there is access in the boot, if so please would somebody private message me details on this. Also could somebody tell me where I can get the tvr bible please.

As it's a convertible you don't need to get in the boot to open the car. smile Think about it.

The 'Bible can be bought from the TVRCC shop

Cheaper from TVRCC and you don't need to be a member to purchase.

I suspect that - after the requisit thinking - you probably worked out the same route as I use ... scarily easy isn't it? Never quite understood why people use the other method! biggrin

Is "the other method" the one which involves going through the boot? Or am I using "the other method" without having ever found out that there is a much easier way?

Interested as my car is once again locked with a flat battery... And 5 cm of snow over it frown If there is a way to open it withoutcensored I'd be glad to know!

I'll send you a mail direct, as the PH email system is sketchy at the mo.

As I am a new member I can't do private messages at the moment the system wont let me. If you private message me I should be able to reply. The way I got in will take you scarily less than a minute but will need two people or at least it will be far far easier if your not billy no mates. My girlfriends dad is a AA man so we tried jacking it up and you can charge the battery from outside the car which would work too and I dont think me saying that is affecting the security of the car for all you paranoid soft top tvr owners, but as my key fob is iffy it didnt work for me and the other way is easier.....PM
