Syncing throttle bodies with DIS/GT1

Hi

Does anyone know where the option is for the above?
A friend wants to try doing this before replacing the throttle body actuator (fault code is showing issue with this component but apparently it only happens in cold weather when car is stone cold and before engine is cranked).
His hope is that it simply something out of spec relating to the actuator.
