Hi All

I know I need a set of ET23 wheels for my 350i. I'm in talks an hopefully will have some sorted in the next few months.

In the short term could I get away with ET36? I've found some nice wheels and they would allow me to get rid of the 5x114.5 wheels with wobble nuts.

While I'm asking does anyone know how to post photos from an iPad on here?

Cheers Karl

How do you feel about 1/2" spacers?

(There are quite a few Mercs with 112 PCD and reasonable wheels.)

Think I'd rather have spacers than the wrong size PCD for now mate.

Am I right in saying that ET36 will mean that the back of the wheel will fit 13mm closer to the centre of the car. And as such possibly cause problem with susspension etc?

Sorry missed a bit. Hence the need for spacers.

Yes and yes.

Don't forget longer studs. FWIW I thought that handling was better with 3mm spacers anyway. Some hate spacers but the Ferarri lot use 20mm ones without batting an eyelid.

Thanks Mate

Looks like its a none starter with these particular wheels anyway. As they are 66.6mm centre and the Wedge seems to be 63mm. Don't suppose you can get a spigot ring that slim?

Hi Karl,
Make sure you've got the latest operating system update on your iPad, and that's it's an iPad 2 or later.
Unfortunately, the iPad 1 doesn't interface very will with some websites.
The later ones, no problem at all!
Hope this helps?

Have a look here http://www.carlsalter.com/wheel_fitments.html. Or wheelfitments.eu. To see what might fit. Some mercs audis and Hondas have the correct pcd stud pattern but offset is different. It may be possible to use something by using a spacer but finding a wheel from one of these sources that you like and suits the wedge may be difficult !! smile
