Is it near Exeter? If so think he has some running gear as well.
Can't believe it, just done a deal on all the running gear which is either brand new or re furbedI'm not going to say how much I got it for but the word bargain doesn't come close.
I,ve basically got a rolling chassis minus the wheels but including the diff and drive shaft, new discs, springs and adjustable shocks.
Also just received my new carpet set from DandC trim which looks great so there is no excuse now to get on with the rebuild.
I will post up some photos when I pick up the chassis

Nice one Chris. What's the carpet like that you got, is it the whole car set or do you still need to do your own set for the boot?
Am seriously considering getting a new set for mine, but want to be 100% sure about quality, etc. before I splash my cash!
Especially as I don't have that much of it to splash around

OK, maybe I'm not exactly on my uppers, but can't afford to throw it away.
I'm considering investing in a second hand, off fleabay, sewing machine to do the edging on some carpets and have a go at doing my own to suit the boot lining, if that works then I'll have a go at the main car

Was about to tempt fate and use that classic line: how hard can it be

It is the whole set for the interior but not the boot. It's all cut to size and trimmed and looks excellent. Dave at D&C was really helpful, they even sent me the underlay(not sure if that's what it's called) so when I glue the new carpet in I can replace that as mine is pretty rotten from all the water ingress.
They also re-trimmed my roof section and did a lovely job.
They certainly have a lot of experience with TVR's and are very knowledgable

Thanks for the info. It all sounds pretty good.
Will definitely check them out, please keep us in the loop with progress, etc. with lots of pictures too.
When you get a minute if you could PM me a link to their website it'd be appreciated.
I've always struggled to find someone who'll do the boot carpet, guess it'll be me and my trusty sewing machine after all
