Brit Bruiser, 1997 V8 Vantage V550 (twin s/c)

Bought this about 10 years ago with one former owner being none other than ex-Boxer 'Prince Naseem'.
It was originally a manual car, but as Naz is a short arse, he had it converted to auto by Works Service. The auto box is pretty horrible it has to be said (although my father quite likes it). Think its some kind of 3 speed thingy-me-bob with overdrive. Really doesn't suit the character of the car and has been a sore point for me ever since purchasing it.
Anyway, I'm just wondering what the 6 speed manual gearbox would've been that I presume Works Service kept as part of the conversion. I seem to recall hearing from somewhere it was from a Corvette?
Thinking about trying to acquire one and convert the car back to manual....

No mate, mine was bought around 2003/04 from memory and its a Rolls Royce colour, again from memory, kind of a dark metallic grey.

I know you claim you'll say what you post to people's faces... I'd love to see that one A great champion in his day, wouldn't buy it just because he sat in it although you can't help who's on the V5 before you.
Can't think of any celebrity's car I'd like to own actually... Ex Gauntlett or Brown, Marek etc would be interesting I suppose
