just curious, got one of those new Febreze which look and smell quite fresh

usually pick up a Black Ice Magic Tree

but someone gave me a promotional one of Vanillaroma

then I went after trying to find a proper 'New Car Smell" but everything labelled "NCS turned out to be nothing like it

but the smell just reminded me of being non compos mentis in the back of a Taxi

I find a rip-roaring fart is the fragrance most commented on by passengers.

My mrs used to get me a few them every time she visited her folks, there was a car spares shop near by who sold em. Sadly he stopped stocking them because he couldn't get them anymore and it's the old fashioned type I like with the pin.

Opening the window?

Can't abide car air freshners, to the extent that the sight of a Magic Tree dangling in a classified ad photo would stop me viewing the car.

Nothing. I breathe enough chemicals as it is without adding more. If my car smells funny I want to know why!

best one I have found - new car wink

I always have vents set to air coming from outside (but I live in small town and don't drive much in city/heavy traffic)

I have never got in a car with an air freshener and thought it smells anything other then nasty. Usually mixed in with a bit of damp and cigarette smoke that is trying to be covered up.

I'm a big fan of California scents and just put it in a drinks holder and now you don't even have to get them online the local Halfords sells them.

As for magic trees I can't stand the things dangling away. Had the car valeted and ended up with 2 of them hanging up. From now on he won't be getting my custom.
