Now, if it had been a fixed head, then I'd have been seriously interested, £655 not too bad a price!
Bit of negotiation and possibly around the £500 mark thumbup
I'm with Zig on the walking away from that one!

I'm sorry to say this about a wedge but it looks like a bag of nuts and bolts, that is a Labour of love and a bottomless pocket :-)

This bit makes me...hurl

Looks like the only salvageable parts are body shell..wheels and some interior bits!!..Possibly some hard to get bits like the thermo time switch..cold start injector and plastic high pressure fuel hose..Side windows and windscreen..(Although that can be sourced)..Ziga

I know it would be a shame.....but that is parts (limited) at best

its not salvageable at all

(Not in any real sense of the word anyhow).

You would need to be Barking to take that on

Not so sure about the woooooof Hallsie, more of a complete howler hehe

It'd wind up like "Trigger's broom" by the time it was finished: new body, new chassis, new interior, new electrics, new glass, new engine, but still a wedge when all is said and done!

It's terrible that someone let it get in that state punch

I'm definitely not brave enough to take that one on eek

Fair bit of work but saveable. Re-import costs probably prohibitive though.

This is saved now.
It was not too bad after all. Chassis is solid except that small section pictured above. Body has not been in accident and is straight with nearly none stress cracks. We picked it up with my brother last week. Drove 1720km to get there and an other 1720km back home in Finland.

Well done!
Brave indeed, but I suppose it goes to show that you have to speculate to accumulate!
When I know I'm next over in Finland I'll let you know and see if we can get together and have a look at your great cars.

Please let us know how you get on with it.

Cheers for now
Mark

I guess this red one have to wait for its turn, as the supercharged 350i need completing and we pulled the 390SE engine out for rebuild. These two has to be done before the snow melts away and busy season at work begins.

Its getting crowded in the workshop, as you can see:

Yes, you are most welcome to visit us, if you happen to be around in the neighbourhood!

Hi

Nice looking collection and set up. Yes as Zig says well done for saving another British car.

I will have to take some pics of my current ongoing projects and post them up.

At present its 2 x 350is, a 280i FHC, Trident Venturer and my 350SE which hopefully will be out of the bodyshop this week. Then I can put the bumpers etc back on, which then only leaves a couple of other small jobs, after them it's then ready for it's MOT.

Great another one done!

Andy

Wow!
Thanks for the pic of your garage, sure does look busy in there!
I work for Kone, so travel to Hyvinkaa a couple of times a year, next time I'm planning on coming over, I'll let you know and see if we can sort out a meeting.
As everyone else has said; well done for helping keep so many wedges alive and well thumbup
