has anyone got any part numbers or info on the early griff 500 diff mount bushes, and phone or email details ??

Mine is now making a knock from forward to reverse and can sometimes be felt when setting off from a standing start

Are you sure it's not the brake pads?

The only TVR part No's I can find are;

R0063 Griff / Chim Diff mtg Bush from 6/93 x2 R front & L front..I assume...
R0064 Griff / Chim Diff mtg Bush from 6/93 x1 rear...

TMS - 01664 481065 is your best bet.

if you're replacing the bushes it's probably better to replace with poly versions than the std rubber ..

Have you checked that it is the bush ?? I had the clunking return on my Griff last week and when the car was jacked up, I found the rear diff mounting bracket was loose and one bolt had completely fell out.

I had a combination of three, bolt out, bracket snapped, and bushes gone, made interesting driving.

If we are talking the top one, with my last Griff i nicked a bit of the dogs "nyler bone" and bodged it in the gap, lasted for the time i had it. This Griff has gone also, so is it a DIY job to change it ?
