Alloy rear window handle.

I have just bought an alloy handle for to fit to the rear window of my T350c, but can someone who has already fitted one of these, tell me if I need to fit a gasket between the handle and the glass?

Just buy a 2-3mm think sheet of rubber and cut it yourself with a stanly knife to suit. Should get some from a motor factor or b+q etc.
