I must admit that I never thought an aftermarket pedal cover set would ever be on my shopping list. However, with plans for a minimal interior, I thought they could add a nice bit of detail over the standard kit, and having seen pictures of another build where they had been used, I thought I would give it a go.

Pictures as follows:

The second photo makes the middle pedal look a bit wonky but it looks fine in the metal (honest)!

Now that I have relased my inner chav (some might say not so inner...), I am worried I have opened the flood gates. Next, neon under the front splitter.

For the avoidance of any doubt whatsoever - just kidding about the neon.

Rather more tasty looking than the sandpaper (racing) look. For those members of the forum who have been here a certain time, you may recall an offer for billet alu pedals... Was it Pete LuckyP) perhaps? I may have a photo or two if I can dig them out.

Tada, found the link thanks to a Google search: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=17&...

They look nice but I have to wear race pumps to avoid touching adjacent pedals.
I.M.O. The pedal spacing needs widening a bit.

Have chosen to align the pedal heads and seat back parallel as a starting point.. Had something nasty removed from under the sole of my right foot a few years back so pressing on the corner of those little pedals was to be avoided at all costs .

So, the idea of wearing my DocMartens when driving my Ultima is out of the question. I will have to dig out my racing pumps too wink

Those are a bit special - not seeing them until now though has saved a couple of hundred quid off the budget! A matching accelerator pedal might make them even harder to resist...

That's a really good point I wish I had thought of before! The pedal covers are wider than the standard pedals. It'll be a while before I get to test them, so will just have to keep my fingers crossed. Reverting back to standard wouldn't be too tricky, but would be a shame.
