Overpriced, or bargain French cool?
Discussion
I've just seen this Citroen XM in the classifieds. 33k one owner car. Looks to be in fantastic nick. Have to admit to having a soft spot for big gallic barges, but is £2995 asking to much? Either way, I can't see there being many equivalent XM's anywhere like this, so thought I would do my civic duty and make any fellow PH'ers aware.

Mate of mine sold his tidy example identical to that for £1100.
XM values are rapidly rising, but that model is one of the least desirable. The year is the best one to go for, but in terms of value the diesels and top of the range V6s are the ones commanding higher prices.
Truth be told £3k would net you a mk1 V6 24v....a very rare beast and the best XM they ever made.
