Myself and Matthewdoe have been chatting about arranging a regular meet for cornwall owners (and devon if interested) We would meet somewhere central depending on where everyones from.

If you live in this area and are up for this add your name and town here

cheers

Ok what i think we should do mate is doing the flyer idea and actually telling the other jago owners that were going to meet and that theres a meet on, and if we dont see them stick a flyer on there window..

Chris is it possible for a list of people in the club in Cornwall / South West Area ?

Well did any of you make it to Exeter?
If not perhaps I shall see you there tomorrow - Weather should be a bit kinder than today so we shall cruise down the M5 and attempt to find Westpoint (bit worrying though, been to Westpoint before and that was sure as hell not in Devon???)

Sadly i think were the only ones in the club at the moment.

One i think is the best thing todo is write down here where ya spotted a Jago, i'll get on designing a banner to advertise the club and a possible meet early 2005, jan time ?

Im also going to put a post on who would be interested in meeting at lets say Exeter for a Jago Meet !

Something different from the cornwall thing tho !

List of known Jagos in Cornwall

1) Mevagissey, somewhere at the top (Will check if its still there)

2) Truro - A Guy owns 3 Jagos, maybe 5 as theres spares, it's near radio cornwall area , pass staples down that way etc.

3) Newquay - Straight pass hendra holiday park, at the roundabout carry on down the hill, on your right should be a red jago.

4) Summercourt - a Jago owner who owns a farm, will have to get back incontact with him,

5) Falmouth/Penzance, can't remember which one but theres a guy down there that has a Jago, or used to have one last year

6) St Austell, me and my dad !

7) ....

Getting a bit jealous of all these shows and meets out of my jago range (50 miles down hill at the mo!!)

Bumped this subject to see if there are any jago owners in the D&C area again for a meet.

Perhaps Ivorbigwheels can let me know if there are any registered??

thanks all

Hi

If one of you wants to be nominated as the initial point of contact for organising a D/C meet I can put a piece in next month's Transmissions , along with Gerry's article (ta very much for the contribution , keep it coming....)

As regards the membership list , it may not be possible to include the up to date one due to deadlines for producing the mag , but I am sure once Alan has processed all the renewals he could send a copy to you.

One thing I am very keen to do is get the informal social side of things up and running again , hence my own monthly efforts up t'North . I would love to meet up with you guys myself but its the practicalities of travelling hundreds of miles!

Hi guys
I'm just west of Exeter and happy to meet in a mid-way Devon/Cornwall location.
Geep is working up to MOT at present, but if you can stomach a Peugeot temporarily then I'd like to meet up sometime.

I don't know when the deadline for the next Transmissions is, I don't mind you giving out my details as a contact point, however I'm not going to 'bulldoze' my way into it without asking Gary or Peter first...it's only fair...if one of those guys wants to go for it (or anyone else nearby) then I'm happy to go with the flow or as you hear on Fistral Beach in the summer...No Worries.
Cheers

I certainly have no problem with Gerry being main D&C contact.

Whilst here I must say that this forum has been a real eye opener. Keep the information flowing it's great!

Deadline for next mag is 26th March , I will include your contact details Gerry , and if before then you can confirm a date/location for your next meet it will be included also.

Thanks again for stepping forward , lets hope we can do the same somewhere in the Midlands , South East and far North too later this year.

I know it can be too far for many members to attend some of those major shows , hopefully if we can get a number of regional "pub" meets going there should be no excuse for not dusting 'em off and getting 'em taxed!
